Let It Snow
The largest full moon in 15 years drew me out last night. I wasn’t howling, I was shooting. Unfortunately, the clouds over Pittsburgh would not relent, so I was forced to satisfy myself with some snow shots at Schenley Park.
And, of course, a self-portrait (who doesn’t like looking at my ugly mug?).
I will try to capture the perigee moon tonight, hopefully the skies are kinder.

I'm an engineer by trade, and a photographer by hobby. In the fall of 2007, I bought my first digital SLR, a Nikon D40x, and haven't looked back yet. The majority of my photographic expeditions involve abandoned structures in Western Pennsylvania, but I'm never without my camera while on the road or at a Pirates game, and I have been known to take the occasional photo of a plant.
