Snowpocalypse
You may have heard…there was a bit of a storm in the northeast this weekend. A lot of my friends took to calling it Snowpocalypse. Pittsburgh got hit with one of the 5 worst snow storms it has ever seen, other regions set new snow records. Regardless of the history books, this snow was epic. We woke up to the most compelling winter wonderland I’ve ever seen. To the right, you can see a shot of Kyle taking some of the first shovelfuls off our walkway, keep reading to see some more shots from the couple of blocks around my house.
- trees in Frick Park
- Kyle, battling with Jack Frost
- Franco, watching Kyle shovel snow
- The view of Beechwood from our house
- Franco, finally working
- This used to be a car
- Denniston. None of those cars are going to move for a while

I'm an engineer by trade, and a photographer by hobby. In the fall of 2007, I bought my first digital SLR, a Nikon D40x, and haven't looked back yet. The majority of my photographic expeditions involve abandoned structures in Western Pennsylvania, but I'm never without my camera while on the road or at a Pirates game, and I have been known to take the occasional photo of a plant.
